Entering Orders: Making
Traders on the EBS system can act as both Makers and Takers of prices. Makers of price do not pay brokerage, Takers do. Those traders making prices (entering Quotes) can interrupt their quotes, those taking prices (submitting outright Sell/Buy orders) cannot rescind/cancel orders once they have been submitted
